Information for Local 99 Health & Welfare Plan participants:CareFirst will help you find a doctor who participates with Local 99's Health & Welfare plan. Visit their website: www.carefirst.com and click on "find a doctor". Providers who are active in the BluePreferred, Select Preferred, or Maryland/DC PPO networks are considered "in network"; other providers, even if they are in BlueCross/BlueShield's national network, are considered "out of network" for Local 99's Health & Welfare plan. Note: the CareFirst website is updated weekly, but you should still verify participation with the provider before making an appointment. The Summary Plan Description
